How Is the Seat Fee Recorded?

Commission Deduction: Seat fee withheld from each rep's commission payout for all 35 employees (W2 + 1099). Simple recovery — not on payroll. No additional FICA.

Payroll Compensation (W2 only): For the 7 W2 employees only — seat fee is recorded as taxable wages. Creates a second deductible payroll expense (+37% saving) but triggers employer FICA (−7.65%). 1099 contractors always use commission deduction — you cannot run a 1099 through payroll.

§119 Is Real Cash

The IRS returns 37 cents on every dollar of meal expense at year-end. It doesn't exist today. It only exists because Forefront runs a structured program.

EBITDA Positive From Day 1

Recovery offsets cost. Tax deduction stacks on top. FICA savings add a third layer. The program does not reduce EBITDA — it increases it.
